SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it really is alarmed regarding the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services stage developed for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
